things that are making me smile

*normally these would have been compiled into a 'life lately' but my phone bit the dust and by bit i mean it was smashed under cars as i left it on top of my car one night. so enjoy anyways. we are currently doing some remodeling so i have been MIA with the posts. hopefully before we leave town for the 4th i can make some posts.

i have been extremely grumpy the past few weeks. no clue why, just especially honery. so i am trying to find joy in things- and these are the things i'm loving. the 'my favorite things' party made me smile- i brought dove dark chocolates and eos chapstick.

this little love bug makes me smile. he just adores me and does the silliest things. he loves to laugh at landon pooping, he loves to blow raspberries while nursing, he loves to stick his tongue out and he loves watching kids.

bread - sigh - oh how i love you. these bread sticks i made for a missionary dinner were especially delicious. they made my tummy smile.

this selfie my mom took for me makes me laugh! look at those matching double chins & flared noses! i miss my mom so much. landon often asks 'do you miss your mommy? i don't miss grandma shell!' i think he does miss her but he doesn't understand what that word means completely bc we're going to see her soon.

look at this tiny guy. he doesn't have rolls for days but he is growing and happy- and i did that! i am so proud that i've almost hit 6 months breastfeeding. it has not been easy and i really don't prefer it over bottle feeding, but i love that my body can care for this tiny creature and give him the best i can.

this picture makes me smile! it was taken at the discovery museum and landon was just in awe of the shooting water fountains in the water room. we usually hit that room last [for obvious reasons] which means he's cranky and tired but it just fills my heart to see my little boy so happy.

look at that massive amount of chocolate! this is a chocolate zucchini cake with ganache that i over did it. this, obviously, was pre-ww. the funny thing was, it wasn't that scrumptious. but it still makes me smile to use my garden in different ways.

my eternal family makes me smile! there are many times were every single person in this picture irritates me, especially myself, but there is no one else i would rather be with for eternity. and the temple always makes me happy.

lastly, swimming at my aunt lori's makes us all smile! her pool is fantastic for little kids, great for shade, and warm as bath water! it is my favorite pool! i love swimming so much and this pool makes it easy to do with two kids. happy summer my friends!
