easy peasy pizza crust

since one of my resolutions is to be more awesome [which let's face it, is pretty hard to do when you're as cool as me] and to also cook more new recipes. and this isn't new at all but it's one of my favorites. i love homemade pizza and justin hates it so i hardly make it, so to mark the occasion i decided to share it all with you.

mom's easy pizza crust

just because every picture is cuter with landon in it
mix 1 cup of warm water with 1 Tb yeast and 1 Tb sugar. wait for it to double in size. in a big bowl mix together 1 Tb oil, 1/2 tsp salt, and the yeast mixture [sometimes i like to add garlic and oregano]. slowly add flour with a whisk, keeping the dough smooth [should be pancake consistency]. keep adding flour slowly and start working with a wooden spoon until the dough becomes too hard to mix by hand. put the dough on a floured or pam-ed surface, keep adding flour and knead [usually about 3-4 cups flour]. put back in an oiled bowl and let it double in size [or put in fridge until you're ready for it]. once it's risen, roll it out on a cookie sheet [i prefer to use a holey pizza pan- it makes for crisper crust], top with sauce and toppings. cook at 375 until crust is cooked thoroughly [10-20 min].

easy peasy.
