life lately: it's raining men [hallelujah??]

i am so outnumbered by men it's ridiculous. don't get me wrong, i love my boys and i know one day there will be an upside to being the only woman in the house but right now i'm feeling surrounded by monster trucks & dinosaurs. life as been super tiring lately but incredibly blessed. but ya i'm exhausted. life lately has been visits from family & friends, including several presents for a spoiled landon. it was a 4 harrison men pictures and one little blonde boy looking more zobrist then harrison [in my opinion]. it was kristi being phenomenal and for once, putting up landon's crazy bridges in his train set [we usually ignore bc it's so much trouble to put up but i have since glue it into place]. it's been a lot of lonely time outside [trying to avoid germs] so landon learning how to play independently [finally!].

 life has been a big brother CONSTANTLY touching his little brother. my mom said when i came along, she would sit on the ground with a broom with me in between her legs and swat all the rest of the 5 kids away from me so i could learn how to move. i thought she was crazy- now i get it. landon is constantly touching porter. and it was cute until he never stopped and poor porter was constantly being poked and prodded. i guess it's better then the alternative. we read with porter, we get dressed with him and we snuggle him. and every once in a while, he gets a moment alone to sleep [unlike me]. *i know it looks like porter is being suffocated by the pillow in the top right pic but believe me, he isn't. he just rolled to his side when the picture was taken.

life lately has been a short reprieve for mommy and porter and a fun night out for landon [not so much daddy]. justin took landon to a rebel game once night [at a ghastly 7pm! i was against it but i'm glad he went. we sure paid for it the next day]. it was his first and he was so excited and justin said everyone just doted over him. he ate so many snacks and was so excited for the fireworks [the whole next day he kept telling me about the fire and smoke- hahaa] and the giant mustache [hey reb] and firetruck [justin claims there was no firetruck]. he's actually going to another one this weekend so that'll be tons of fun. esp for mommy bc the game is at 5pm.
