dead bird walking

what to do on a tuesday night without glee? when homework is all done? order in pizza of course- actually, i made chicken enchiladas but my hubbyspend was wasting away right in front of me so we ordered pizza & put the 'chadas on the hold. as i sat on the couch, watching 'pretty little liars' (abc familys new original skankathon of the summer- can't get enough obviously.SLAT broke my heart by lacking in any kind of substance), the doorbell rang. as i peered out the peep hole and saw no one, i knew it was either a rapist or the irelands, so i decided just to poke my head out a tad (justin pointed out later that if it was a rapist, then opening it just a little wouldn't have helped at all....but honestly, does he really want to mess with this werevamp? come on) and of course, the irelands.

steven & meghan are our new friends but not that new. (and yes, if you are reading this irelanders, i stole this pic from fb, aka the devils playground) steven grew up with us in the northwest & went to school with us. meghan is his beautiful, blushing new bride of only a few months. they live with us in the wondrous renaissance villas & are our rockin new couple friends.

so alas, it was the irelands. they were attempting to swim but the pool was overrun with chicklens so they came to hang out. so we gorged ourselves while watching 'pl squared' with raspberry lemonade (but not for steven, he is a strictly pure lemonade fan) and these spanish speaking friends of mine taught me some naughty language (steven & meghan served in peru together).

well after two hours of pl squared, we decided to head to the jacuzzi- i then proceeded to tell them about wchot-tub wchednesday (with a 'hot rob' accent)- the beloved time @ suu when me & the besties would go to our own boiling pot of diseases @ stadium way. well let me tell you, the 5 min we were there, it was divine. good friends, hot pot of water; what really more could you want in life? (a tub of coke slurpee, in case you were wondering) well as we were engaging in stimulating conversation, steven starts to pull out something from the water-------

A FREAKING DEAD, FEATHER-LESS BIRD!!!!!!!!!!!!

no joke. a dead, featherless animal of flight was literally boiling in our pot with us. when he first pulled it out, we started to SCREAM and jump out- i thought maybe it was a frog, but hello? vegas- we dont have frogs! SO grossgrossgrossgross- meghan & i showered off then jumped in the pool, but we could still feel his spirit among us. it was a large bird, so something deliberately took our his feathers & put him in the jacuzzi- or the hot water eventually pulled them off- either way, SO FREAKIN GROSS! i still shutter at the thought. just think, we could have gotten the bird flu, which as you can see, if a very serious epidemic. anyways, we freaked out a plenty in the pool & swan in that deathly cold existence, most likely chilled even more due to the death that surrounded us. we saw someother freak of a guy use a plastic lid to move the bird then get in (seriously dude? you had to swim that bad? freak). well as we swan, i proclaimed that this is the reason blogs existed to i tried to use my womanly ways to coerce justin into getting my camera so we could document it. well, when that obviously didn't work, so i promised him donuts, which made us all start jonesing for donuts. well, what else are four young marrieds to do on a tuesday night @ 10pm?

go to krispie kremes of course!
it was delectable but quite the oinkish experience for us. eventually after
we dropped the irelanders off, we went back & took a pic so everyone could know the truth.
i also earned my good citizen award that night to call & report the dead fowl to the authorities. honestly, she didn't seem that freaked out....which is kinda haunting... anyways enjoy the dead birds below. or not. i am just honored, nay, privileged, to have you blogstalk me today.
