fabric flower

as of lately, i've really been into flowers. who knows why? maybe i'm craving greener weather & cool temps (while i bake in the vegas heat- oh, how i miss cedar). anywhowhatsies, here is a cute fabric flower i found here.
just 1+ inch of scrap fabrics, sew into a long strip. sew one side, flip inside out, then sew the other side so it bunches. once you do that, all you have to do is twirl it into a flower, sew the underside. attach a felt bottom with a pin (or leave a strip of unsewed path in the middle so you can slide it onto a headband) and voila!

once i get my sewing machine back from my stealing sister (not anna, surprisingly, although she has tried to steal it in the past), i will make this.
